About Yoga Nati

The word Yoga comes from the Sanskrit root Yuj (युज्) which means Union, Communion or Unity.

Yoga is a science [and philosophy] that teaches us the method of joining the individual soul and the Supreme Soul. Yoga is the control of mind and its modifications. It is the complete suppression of the tendency of the mind to transform itself into objects, thoughts, etc.

In a more pragmatical interpretation, we can understand yoga as a means to harmonize body, mind and soul.

Nati (नति) means "bending down / humility", also came from the sacred language of Yoga (Sanskrit). With humility, we learn to be more generous and it is one of the aims of a yoga and meditation practice.
Nati is also, as my closest friends affectionately call me. :)
